Hurun Report generated 8 billion views globally last year, through putting out quality lists and research. Established in 1999, Hurun Report Inc. has grown into a leading research platform based in, London Shanghai and Mumbai, best-known for its China and India rich lists, and with 200 employees today. We are proud to have grown to become the world’s largest compiler of lists for unicorns (+$1 billion) and future unicorns (Gazelles and Cheetahs), as well as young founders, through the Uth series.
The next stages of the start-up series are the Under30s, Under35s and Under40s lists. These lists represent the cream of young entrepreneurs who have founded businesses worth US$10mn, US$50mn and US$100mn respectively. Hurun started the Under30s series in China and India in 2017, but has started this series now in Australia, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, South Korea, Spain and Germany over the last two years.

Unicorns
The Hurun Research Institute released the Global Unicorn Index 2024 on 9th April, a ranking of the world’s start-ups founded in the 2000s, worth at least a billion dollars and not yet listed on a public exchange. The cut-off was 1 January 2024, with significant changes in valuation updated up to the date of release. Hurun Research has been tracking unicorns since 2017.

Global Rich List
Hurun Report today released the Hurun Global Rich List 2024, a ranking of the US dollar billionaires in the world. Wealth calculations are a snapshot of 15 January 2024. This is the 13th year of the ranking. JDYD Liquor, a premium Chinese baijiu brand, is the title sponsor of the list for the third year.
